3/15: Nature's Obstacle Course! Swings! Creek! Hidden Art! Tree Thrones in East Bay Oasis!

A hike full of surprises in the East Bay!
*Many fun tree and rope swings for you and your kids to try
*A nature and man made obstacle course in incredible Bay and *Redwood trees (two different areas)!
*Giant Redwood stumps for the kids to climb to the top of and have all kinds of pretend play (thrones for queens & kings, castles, bakeries)
*Flowing, shallow creek for kids to play in
*Hidden art for you and your family to find!
*And, a chance to meet other families and enjoy the great outdoors together!
For those who are interested, we'll go for lunch afterward in Oakland, then to a nearby chocolate shop and a bookstore.

*1 mile round trip trail, easy through this unique landscape
*Dog friendly
*Not stroller friendly due to stairs, backpack or front-facing carriers all work for this hike.
TODDLER METER: GREEN (as in go). Great for toddlers. Should bring along a carrier if the little feet get tired!

*One pass covers a family, meaning parents and children (you can bring an extra person on your pass, but 2 extra people will need to buy their own pass).
After 2 kids, $10 charge for each additional child to cover treats + educational materials

EVERY 10TH: For every 10th family who signs up for this outing, we can welcome a family for free. This is geared toward low income families. We don't check income; this is an honor system. If you want to join under the EVERY 10TH program, please write EVERY 10TH in the payment section. When deciding, we will give priority (among other factors) to those who have never joined an outing to ensure that everyone gets a chance to attend.
