(3/8) Mystery Ghost Car🚗 Turned Planter, Bridges, Funghi 🍄 'Mother of Forest' Log, Wild Tea Tasting (Peninsula)

Come find the ghost car and walk across the top! Join us for a fun ramble through the woods in a spectacular spot hidden right in the middle of the Peninsula. An old car has been integrated into one of the trails, with a bridge leading right from it! It's a perfect spot for some photos of the kiddos! Mine always have a blast walking across the top (when else do you get a chance do you get to walk ON a car?). Plus, we'll have tea tasting and explore the 'mother of the forest' log!
WHAT TO EXPECT
🚗👻🌿 Walk across the ghost car: This buried car is always a hit with the little ones and makes for a great photo op! We'll have a special activity for the kids here (think message in a bottle concept)!
☕️🌿 Sagebrush tea tasting: Sagebrush is a native plant that has an intoxicating aroma (I always pick a little sprig to smell as I hike!) and makes a lovely tea. We'll have some when we stop for a snack!
🎄🐿️ 🌿 Look for all manner of critters, the season's first wildflowers, plants! This beautiful hidden trail winds its way through the woods and the kiddos will love "patting" all the vibrant green moss
🪵🍄🌿 'Mother of the Forest' Log: There is a "mother of the forest" log (a dead tree that plays host to a myriad of living organisms) that has an astonishing amount of different funghi. Let's see if we can identify all of them!
🪵🪨🪵 Climb! Many trees + logs to discover!
🏕️❤️🫂 Community, friendship + support: Instant 'playdate' for your kiddos! We usually have kids from toddlers up to tweens join, with all of the kids playing together. You might see old MMH friends + hopefully make some new ones, too! We also offer all kinds of support: Forgot baby wipes? Need more snacks? Solo parenting on the outing and need some extra help? We got you!
