4/19 Pre-Easter Egg Hunt in Nature's Playground: Tree Tunnel! Stick Forts! Stumps + Logs! Beach! Wildflowers

Do you know this coastal preserve? It's another hidden gem that offers a nature's playground for the littles: a tree tunnel, stick forts, stumps and long, long logs to climb on, and the beach to explore for crab shells and more! We might see a horse or two walking on the beach as well.
There are SO many places to hide the treats — this is a perfect spot for it! I've included in the sign-up form a question about what kinds of treats are suitable. This is a NON-DENOMINATIONAL Easter Egg hunt.
IT WILL BE THE PERFECT SATURDAY ON THE COAST:
🐣🧺🪵 Roam through an awesome nearly half-mile long tree tunnel while the kids do the Easter Egg/scavenger hunt and play in the stick forts and on the stumps and logs!
🏖️🐚🪣 Relax on the beach, play with your kids on the shore, collect seashells and/or build sandcastles
🐴🐦⬛🌸 Look for all manner of critters, the season's first wildflowers! Maybe see horses trotting on the beach, watch a murmuration of red-winged blackbirds (amazing!) or a flock of pelicans diving for food in the ocean!
🏕️❤️🫂 Community, friendship + support: Instant 'playdate' for your kiddos! We usually have kids from toddlers up to tweens join, with all of the kids playing together. You might see old MMH friends + hopefully make some new ones, too! We also offer all kinds of support: Forgot baby wipes? Need more snacks? Solo parenting on the outing and need some extra help? We got you!

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: EASY. 1.5 miles to the beach with plenty of stops for snacks and lunch, and lots of play!!! Suitable for jogging strollers, wagons and kids' bikes (except for the stairs going down to the beach; you can leave wheels up top though some people opt to bring them down the stairs). One parent usually takes a shortcut through the park to get the car and come back for the kids; we also shuttle parents and kids to cars.

TODDLER METER: GREEN (as in go). Great for toddlers. Should bring along a carrier if the little feet get tired!
NOTE
*The kids will hunt for the eggs, but the actual treats will be in party bags that I hand out at then end so parents can keep an eye on what their kids are getting. Unlike last year, kids will not select treats, we'll just hand out the bags.
*Big kids and little kids will have separate hunt areas so the little kids have the joy of finding an egg.

*One pass covers a family, meaning parents and children (you can bring an extra person on your pass, but 2 extra people will need to buy their own pass).

EVERY 10TH: For every 10th family who signs up for this outing, we can welcome a family for free. This is geared toward low income families. We don't check income; this is an honor system. If you want to join under the EVERY 10TH program, please write EVERY 10TH in the payment section. When deciding, we will give priority (among other factors) to those who have never joined an outing to ensure that everyone gets a chance to attend.
