4/5/25: Exploring Nature's Canvas: Finding Hidden Treasures, Tree Swings, Climbing Rocks + More in Beach Paradise
Saturday, April 5, 10:30 a.m.
In the East Bay is a park, on the edge of San Francisco Bay, where kid-friendly artwork mixes with nature’s artistry, offering so many gems to discover — some popping up from out of the ground! As we journey through this unique landscape, we’ll uncover its hidden treasures and the children — and parents, too — will hopefully discover, or rediscover their inner artist! And we won’t just see art …
Highlights include:
Swinging on tree swings! Including a tire swing
Exploring art that’s become part of the nature in this park by the San Francisco Bay
Playing in water, building sandcastles or flying kites on a serene beach!
Climbing rocks, hopping on and off tree stumps
Looking for bugs, like slugs, and butterflies!
Families making their own artwork to take home!
Breathtaking views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate, and Marin
Admiring end-of-season wildflowers
Exploring historic military bunkers
Spotting over 150 species of birds
