What to expect:
π¦π¦ππ’π¦π WILDLIFE! Birds, butterflies, ducks, turtles, banana slugs galore and maybe even deer or bats β kiddos will love spotting animals in the wild (and parents will love the photo ops!).
π¦π¦π¦ Unique Waterfalls: The creek and waterfalls are formed in a different way from our usual explorations. NOTE: Reaching one of the waterfalls is difficult.
πͺ¨πͺ΅πͺ¨Nature's Maze via Bridges + Creek: Kids will have an opportunity to hike through the creek under bridges and get a fun adventure that will lend itself to their imaginations.
πͺ¨πͺ¨πͺ¨ Indigenous Relics: We will get to learn about and examine traces of the first people who called this forest home.
πΈπΌπͺ»π²Wildflowers + LUSH GREEN REDWOOD FOREST! We'll hopefully catch late-season wildflowers. Enjoy the flowers and the beautiful shades of green everywhere!

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: EASY. The hike has a gradual uphill. You should be able to hike two miles total, with stops along the way for play plus lunch at the halfway point. Stroller/wagon friendly!

EVERY 10TH: For every 10th family who signs up for this outing, we can welcome a family for free. This is geared toward low income families. We don't check income; this is an honor system. When deciding, we will give priority (among other factors) to those who have never joined an outing to ensure that everyone gets a chance to attend.
